About Us at Woodstream Campsite begins with more than six decades of welcoming campers to the wooded hills of Gainesville, New York. Our mission has always been simple: to provide a home away from home where guests can relax, reconnect, and create lasting memories together.

At Woodstream, we believe the best camping experiences come from the little moments—floating down the creek on a warm afternoon, casting a fishing line with the kids, gathering around campfires as laughter drifts through the trees, and sharing weekends filled with music, games, and community traditions. Our goal is to provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where every visitor feels like part of the Woodstream family.

Over the years, the campground has grown and evolved. We’ve added amenities, improved campsites, and introduced new activities while staying true to the easygoing spirit that first drew families here generations ago. Today, many of our campers return year after year—some bringing their children and grandchildren to experience the same summer traditions they once enjoyed themselves.

Our vision is to continue creating fun, meaningful experiences for campers of all ages while building strong relationships within our local community. We strive to offer diverse activities that appeal to every kind of camper—from quiet days in nature to lively weekends full of shared experiences.
