To ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable stay for all guests, we ask that everyone review and follow the campground rules below.
Failure to comply with campground policies may result in removal from the property without refund.
All campers and visitors must register at the office, provide driver’s license and vehicle plate numbers, and display a vehicle tag at all times.
Check-in is 3:00 PM. Check-out is 12:00 PM for RV/tent sites. Check-out is 11:00 AM for cabins. Early arrival or late departure requires office approval and is charged at $5 per hour. Stay extensions must be requested by 10:00 AM.
A two-night minimum is required on weekends. A three- to four-night minimum is required on holiday weekends. Holiday reservations are non-refundable and non-transferable. All reservations are non-transferable. Date changes may be permitted within the same calendar year, subject to availability. You must be 21 years or older to reserve or camp.
A 100% deposit is charged at booking. Any remaining balance will be charged three weeks prior to arrival. Campsite cancellations made 14 days or more prior to check-in receive a refund minus a $25 fee; cancellations 13 days or less forfeit the deposit. Rustic Cabins cancellations made 30 days or more prior to check-in receive a refund minus a $50 fee; cancellations 29 days or less forfeit the deposit. Glamping Cabins cancellations made 30 days or more prior to check-in receive a refund minus a $100 fee. No refunds are issued due to weather.
Visitor hours are 9:00 AM to 10:30 PM. All visitors and vehicles must register and display a pass. Unregistered visitors may be removed and considered trespassers. Registered guests are responsible for the conduct of their visitors. Visitors may not bring pets.
Quiet hours are from 10:30 PM to 8:00 AM. Children under 18 must be at their site by quiet hours and accompanied by an adult. Security may remove guests for violations without refund. Firearms, fireworks, illegal drugs, disruptive behavior, loud music, vandalism, tree damage, uncontrolled fires, and smoking in restrooms are prohibited at all times.
The pool is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day and availability is not guaranteed. There is no lifeguard on duty. Two adults age 18 or older must be present when the pool is in use, with one adult remaining on deck. Children less than 16 years old must – at all times – be accompanied by a parent or guardian or similar adult responsible for their safety and behavior while at the bathing facility. Diapers are not permitted; swim pants are required. Diving, running, glass containers, food, alcohol, smoking, radios, and reserving seats while absent are not permitted. Pool rules are strictly enforced and violations may result in cancellation of a seasonal reservation.
Campsites allow a maximum of six people, one vehicle, and two pets. Additional guests require visitor fees. Cabins may be occupied by one family consisting of two adults and two children under 18, or four adults. One vehicle is permitted per cabin.
Campsites left excessively dirty may incur a $50 cleaning fee. Smoking in cabins results in a $200 cleaning fee. Unauthorized pets in cabins result in a $250 cleaning fee. Damage or theft will be billed at repair or replacement cost. A refundable security deposit for extra cleaning and damage will be charged at check-in: $200 for campsites and traditional cabins, and $1,000 for glamping accommodations (Luxury Frontier Cabins, Airstream, and Vintage Trailer). The deposit applies to all reservations for that unit type.
Pets: A maximum of two pets is permitted per campsite. Pets must be leashed, may not be left unattended (including locked inside your camper or car). Rabies vaccination certificate required on file at the office. Vaccination papers must also be kept at your site. Pets must be leashed (6-foot leash) at all times, supervised by someone age 13 or older. Pets are not allowed at the pool, in buildings, or on playgrounds. While we love our pet campers, dogs are not permitted in the camp store because we serve food. Pets must be cleaned up after, including in the woods. All waste must be disposed of using bags at Dog Waste Depot Stations. Violation of this policy is cause for termination of your stay.
Service Animals: You must be able to answer two questions: (1) Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?; and (2) What work or task has the dog been trained to perform? Any person with a pet (including a service animal) will be excluded and removed if: (a) the animal is unruly, aggressive, barking excessively, or creating a direct threat to the health/safety of others, and the handler does not take effective action to stop it; (b) the animal is not housebroken; and/or (c) if it would fundamentally alter the nature of the goods, services, or operations.
Wildlife: Woodstream is a beautiful wooded campground immersed in nature. All manner of wildlife is present. During your stay you may encounter chipmunks, squirrels, woodchucks, beavers, snakes, foxes, bees and other wildlife. It is imperative that you DO NOT FEED the wildlife.
Fires are permitted only in campground fire rings or grills. Outside firewood is not permitted. Fires must be attended at all times and fully extinguished with water.
All trash must be bagged and placed in dumpsters. Trash is not permitted in fire rings or wooded areas.
Alcohol is permitted at your site only. The New York State drinking age is 21. Smoking is not permitted in campground buildings, pavilions, or cabins.
As set forth in these policies below, Camping is an outdoor recreational activity that carries inherent risks for all activities, including riding wheeled vehicles. The roads are most often loose gravel with uneven surfaces with ruts from RVs and trucks and speedbumps to control vehicular speed. Great care and caution is required in every circumstance. While we do not prevent you from using bicycles, ebikes and other modes of transportation in the campground, we do not recommend them and if you choose to use them, you assume all responsibility for yourself, your property and other campers. The speed limit throughout the campground is 5 MPH and applies to all motor vehicles, bicycles, electric bikes, and personal transportation devices (includes electric bikes, electric scooters, hoverboards, electric skateboards, one-wheels and similar devices). Riders must yield to pedestrians at all times. There is to be NO wheelie or trick riding anywhere on campground property. Riding bicycles, electric bikes, or personal transportation devices after dark is not permitted, unless the device has a working front white light and a rear red light or reflector. All bicycles, electric bikes, and personal transportation devices must be walked across bridges. Consistent with New York State law, Woodstream requires helmets for all bicyclists under age 14, all e-scooter riders aged 16 and 17, and all riders of Class 3 e-bikes regardless of age. We strongly recommend helmets for all riders.
Personal electric transportation devices are permitted on paved and gravel roads only. They may not be operated on grass, trails, or within the playground or pool areas. Operators of any motorized or electric device must be at least 16 years of age. Traditional pedal-only bicycles remain welcome for riders of all ages. Golf carts are permitted only for approved guests with disabilities or campground management. Nothing in this policy restricts the use of wheelchairs or mobility devices by guests with disabilities; guests requiring a power-driven mobility device should contact the office for approval. Parents and guardians are responsible for their children’s compliance with these rules. Devices operated in an unsafe manner, above the speed limit, or by underage riders may be restricted from use for the remainder of the stay. Repeat violations may result, at management’s sole discretion, in eviction of the offending party’s entire group from Woodstream Campsite without refund. ATVs, Segways, mopeds, dirt bikes, mini-bikes, rollerblades, skateboards, Rip Sticks, mountain boards, and radio-controlled planes, helicopters and drones are strictly prohibited.
Camping is an outdoor recreational activity that carries inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven terrain, weather conditions, falling trees and limbs, insects and wildlife, waterways, fire, and the condition and use of recreational facilities. By entering Woodstream Campsite, guests and their visitors voluntarily assume all risks inherent in camping and outdoor recreation, whether or not listed above.
To the fullest extent permitted by New York law, Woodstream Campsite is not responsible for personal injury, death, or loss of or damage to personal property, including vehicles, campers, and their contents, arising from weather events, falling trees or limbs, theft, vandalism, fire, utility interruptions, animals or wildlife, the acts or omissions of other guests, visitors, or third parties, or a guest’s own actions.
Guests are responsible for the supervision and safety of all members of their party, including children, and for the conduct of their visitors. Guests are strongly encouraged to carry their own insurance covering their camping unit, vehicles, and personal property.
Wireless internet may be available, but bandwidth and uptime are not guaranteed.
Guests must follow staff instructions during severe weather or emergency situations.
Photography or video may occur on campground property for marketing, promotional, security, or operational purposes. Guests are responsible for informing members of their party and visitors. Written opt-out is available.
All prices are subject to change without notice. Management reserves the right to interpret and enforce campground policies.
